The Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research fundraises and distributes grants to research sports-related traumatic brain injury. After having the privilege of designing their annual report in 2022 (displayed below), I was again solicited by the foundation to design their 2023 report. As I sat in on planning meetings, my suggestion of the theme — It All Starts With a Spark — was incorporated.
Despite a tight turnaround time once receiving the finalized text, I enjoyed producing a report that incorporates abstract imagery of neurons, photographs of the CNF-affiliated Sports Brain Bank, vintage shots of Chuck Noll himself, and more.
