labor, and reclaiming it. being dirtied by cleansing; giving a part of yourself in acts of care, service, and domesticity. feminism not as capitalistic domination or representation or wealth acquisition, but as autonomy, collectivity, a rejection of capital and a valuing of the feral. giving a part of yourself into a collective, a collective that could tear the walls down.

i drink of my labor, blood of the beet — blood of the earth. i reject capital and hierarchy. i think of the women of Iran, of Rojava, of Palestine, of my female family members, of every feminist political prisoner, and every woman resisting a fascist being. i think of the land, exploited, scarred, covered. i dream of the fight not for domination but for equalization; for the world where we are equal to the plants, animals, and dirt at our feet. zhin, zhian, azadi - zan, zendegi azadi - woman, life, freedom.

special thanks to Olivia Cunnally, Ezra Blank, and Sabine Janssen for documentation; to Radiant Hall Mckees Rocks for venue; and to Sara Jean Ruiz for the wonderful nightgown.
